London Spy: A Review

BBC has broadcast the first of five parts of London Spy. During build-up to this first episode, all kinds of allegations were thrown about by all kinds of people, mainly because the main characters are all gay, I suppose. Now the real thing is out and open to all to assess, I hope we can get back to what really counts. I for my part was entertained and impressed. The latter is mainly due to the work of director Jakob Verbruggen.

Edouard Louis on Eddy Bellegueule

I said somewhere else that Berlin is everywhere, but so is rural France. Edouard Louis is a young French writer who wrote the novel 'En finir avec Eddy Bellegueule' at the age of 18. It was published in France last year and is currently being translated into 20 languages. It was a bestseller. It caused a scandal with the busybodies that sell censure called political correctness and was greeted as a revelation by realists, writers, and able-minded literary critics alike.

Berlin is Everywhere

If you think crimes against homosexual teenagers are something that happens elsewhere, reconsider. In a case like this one, Berlin is everywhere. The story of Nasser makes horrible reading and should encourage people everywhere to keep their eyes open to abuse against children going on all around them, straight and gay. But because he is gay, Nasser was tortured and kidnapped as a child - by his own family. Nasser's story is doesn't unfold in a distant land like the Lebanon but in the middle of Europe - in Berlin.

Google Goes Gay on Sochi

Google has joined the many activists around the world in protesting the anti-LGBT laws introduced in Russia in time for the opening ceremony of the 22nd Winter Olympic Games. The Google doodle shows athletes of winter sports in a colored array reminiscent of the rainbow flag of the international LGBT movement. To bring the point home, the Olympic Charter is cited below the search box.

DusTom, Tomstin, or DaBlack?

Just Jared has published the first photos showing Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black together after Tom Daley's YouTube video bombshell. The pictures were taken when they were leaving the diving center of the University of Houston Texas. Neither of them has confirmed if they are in a relationship, but pictures talk, too.

Tom Daley: Proud Coming Out

Now Tom Daley has decided that we all need to know. He's such a nice boy. And the way he did it was so typical Tom Daley you can't top it. His video message to the world is extremely personal and perfect home movie stuff. I have provided a link in the article.

Homosexuality Grounds For Granting Asylum

Homosexuality may be a reason to grant asylum to fugitives coming to the European Union. This was decided by the European Court of Justice. Three men from African countries had filed charges against the Kingdom of the Netherlands for recognition as refugees with the right to apply for asylum. Their home countries are known to punish homosexual acts with heavy prison sentences or even life imprisonment.

Pope Francis vs Stephen Baldwin

Stephen Baldwin joins the haters, and Pope Francis shoots sharp against religious fundamentalists. In his latest sermon that received wide recognition, Pope Francis attacked the religious right wing as sick people suffering from an illness. Stephen Baldwin meanwhile joins the fascists in their sickbed and takes part in a gay healing conference.

French Gay Marriage Shambles

Trust frogs to make a mess of things. First they allow gay couples to marry. Then it turns out that not all of them are allowed to marry. And then the fascists try to hijack the constitution to invalidate the constitution. They tried that one in 1934, too, in a blatant push to invite Adolf Hitler into the country. Gay marriage has opened Pandora's box on persistent French fascism.

Outing Others

Outing others can take several forms. There are homophobic individuals or groups and haters who do it out of spite and pettiness. There are gays who do it out of wishful thinking or in a moment of pique. And then there are boys asserting their bragging rights. None of these scenarios are pretty.

France Joins Gay Marriage Countries

France has taken the plunge and joined the group of countries that allow gay marriage. Despite massive protests organized by the far right, fascists, self proclaimed Christians, and other reactionary political and religious groups, parliament passed the new law with a more than comfortable majority. The law is expected to be in force by June.

Compulsive Liars Apply For Minority Status

A group of compulsive obsessive liars appointing themselves as 'Christians' have applied to the High Court in the United Kingdom to get recognition as a suppressed minority group. They aim at having their lies acknowledged as 'free speech'. And no, to my knowledge they aren't politicians who do just that for a living.

Coming Out Overwhelms Many Teenagers

Gay teens have a much higher risk of committing suicide than their heterosexual peers. The reason is mainly mental stress before and after their coming out. Scientists are calling for more prevention and a fundamental rethink on family and society values.

Now Boxing Day is Over

Boxing Day is over; and you had several days to stuff yourself on all the goodies available over the holidays. There was all this delicious food and drink, and hours of sitting and gaming. Was it at least a most relaxing time and therefore good for the soul?

Santa Claus Family Album

A year ago, I was offered an exclusive view into what the guys at North Pole headquarters are up to when going on holidays. This year, I have been granted an exclusive view into the family album of Santa Claus. As the North Pole community is made up of only male members, as we know from the history books (female members are the figments of imagination of some weird writers), the pictures are of the adopted sons of Santa Claus and what they are up to.

Tom Daley Watershed Strip

There is not much reason for me to write about Tom Daley. He's such a good boy. He never gets into the dirty pages of the tabloids. But he does look good undressed. The less he is wearing, the sexier he appears. So the reason for this article is just because I enjoyed his saucy strip for BBC Children in Need. Call it a Pudsey Bear strip, if you want.

Call Me Maybe, and Real Life

Do you enjoy Carly Rae Jepsen's video Call Me Maybe as much as I do? I was first drooling and then laughing like an idiot the first time I saw it. The video becomes that much more funny when you know that there are stories to back it up. And Holden Nowell is worth watching no matter what.

Time for Inside Sports

I know that most of you want to misunderstand me. But then there are sports and there are sports. I am sure bed sport counts for fitness much more than any other, at least it keeps your minds active. You can lose as many calories and use as many or more muscles than with any other sport. I mean, you just have to look at the pictures to see how well it works.

That Awkward Moment When

The dirty old men and hags from the advertising department have been busy again. They intervened once more with Google AdSense. To make my life easier, I got rid of the text that made the advertising guys and girls drool and castrated the pictures to show only what can be shown before the watershed. Or should, we know that the TV stations cheat like hell.

Merlin Returns to the Screens

It's magic. October comes and a new series of Merlin appears on screen. The success of a well known story broken into bite size bits and staffed with over-pretty actors and actresses breeds sequel after sequel. The magic of it is that just about everyone has some idea how the general story runs. Missed an episode? Not that important; you'll still be able to follow what is going on based on what you know.
