Call Me Maybe, and Real Life

Do you enjoy +Carly Rae Jepsen's video Call Me Maybe as much as I do? I was first drooling and then laughing like an idiot the first time I saw it. The video becomes that much more funny when you know that there are stories to back it up. And Holden Nowell is worth watching no matter what.

That Awkward Moment When

Do you think sport is exciting? I do. Usually for the sport as such, but sometimes for the guys that are competing in it. And some sports I find exciting to compete in. That is one side. And then there are the guys who find their sport extremely exciting like some wrestlers. They find their sport so exciting, in fact, that it shows. And then some.

These Good Old Times

How often have you heard someone moan that times used to be better? Worse, how often have you said so yourself? Admittedly, the time scale in these moaning varies from 20 to 20,000 years but maybe consider this piece of history before moaning again.

Summer Days Are Over

Summer is on the way out. Cold mornings, wind, and the rustle of leaves under your shoes tell their story of autumn (or should I say fall?) having come all too soon. Just the mention of shoes says it all. No more barefoot running at the beach, or better yet, watching others run.

Male Divers are Sexy: LMFAO

If you think +Tom Daley is sexy, then maybe you would like to take a good look at his teammates in Britain's diving team. Preparing for the London 2012 Olympic Games in Australia, they made a funny video. And they managed very well to show off all their muscles and other interesting parts, too.

Princes with a Gay Warrant

In the United Kingdom, your business is made when you receive a Royal warrant. Warrants are granted by +Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke of Edinburgh  and the Prince of Wales. The warrants accredit your business as a regular supplier to the Royal courts and attest the quality standard of your products and service.

Bernard Tomic in Roger Federer Jubilee Match

Australia's +Bernard Tomic was the featured teen boy in +Roger Federer's jubilee match. With 1,000 matches played in the ATP since 1998 when he entered the tennis circus as an excitable teen, Roger may not be the record holder but it is an impressive figure. At the Australian open, Roger was playing the jubilee match against Bernard Tomic, an excitable young teen playing for Australia.

Zac Efron Reinvented

Zac Efron has reinvented himself. Or he has reinvented his body. The slim dancing teen has become Hulk Hogan while we were looking somewhere else. Nothing left of the young boy charm of Troy Bolton, and mothers should think twice to describe him as favorite son-in-law now. He now looks like the perfect sin-in-law for boys and girls (and mums and dads).

Louis Tomlinson: The Minder of One Direction

With his twenty years, Louis Tomlinson is the doyen of +One Direction (or Wand Erection as some twitterati call them). His tweets, should you read them, are more revealing than any live blog available. I am not sure that this was intended by the management. Either they forgot to tell him that they would write his tweets, or the person who does write it for him has a unique sense of humor (well, not completely unique, I share it and I am not the writer).

Fake Coming Out For Taylor Lautner

The Internet was awash with the cover of People's Magazine showing Taylor Lautner (clothed) and the headline about his coming out. Many fell for it. Those that were caught in the scam sensation were definitely not People's reader. I can't remember it ever appearing on a Saturday as this cover purported to do. And special double issues appear twice a year in summer and at the end of the year; for mid summer it is a bit cold right now, and the end of the year is usually on the other side of New Year's Day. That is at least how I understand it.

Most Wanted: The Wanted

+The Wanted are one of Britain's successful boy bands with a handful of candy twinks appealing to girls and gays alike. The five singing boys are Max George (Masimilian Alberto George), Nathan Sykes (Nathan James Sykes), Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness (James McGuiness), and Tom Parker (Thomas Anthony Parker).

Too Pretty for Dickens?

I for one think an actor is an actor. If he is a good actor, then watching him play is fun, if he is a bad actor, well then it is definitely no fun. Bad actors don't get better just because they are good looking or sexy. But seemingly, there are people who think that if an actor is too good looking then his acting becomes worse. Someone understand this as I don't.

Alastair Cook's Nipple Piercing

Buckingham Palace was facing a dilemma. How does One attach a medal to a naked cricket player? The Queen doesn't hold the necessary university degree to do nipple piercings, a Palace insider told me. In the end, Alastair Cook decided to appear dressed to the honors ceremony to receive his MBE. Some of the spectators were disappointed by that, I'm sure.

My Personal Amusement

As I said in the title of my blog, I write this blog for my own amusement. If it amuses you, too, then so much the better. If it doesn't amuse you, then just ignore it.
