Justin Bieber was bashing out in London for his 19th birthday (isn't that sweet, thinking of him being around for years and still only 19) and it turned out to be his worst birthday ever. We should excuse him for his age, then, as the events that unfolded were purely down to teenage thoughtlessness. Despite inconvenience to himself, he looked out after his guests first, though.
If you want to enter a venue that serves alcohol, the rules in the United Kingdom are easy to follow. You need to be 18 to do so. Turning up with a bunch of teenagers (among them Jaden Smith, the 14 year old daughter of Will Smith) was just that bit of brainlessness you would expect of a teen boy. The chosen venue, Cirque du Soir, consequently refused entry to anyone of Justin's entourage who was unable to proof their age. No stones to throw their way, they just applied the law.
Justin Bieber then decided to move his party elsewhere, as he was not prepared to leave part of the guests out in the cold. Good on him. His worst birthday ever? Maybe not, Justin, think about it, you proved a point that is worth more than a bit of jollity, namely that you value the people you have around you. In years to come, you'll probably come to see the birthday as a pretty good one.
And I am sure that he was cheered up by the flowers that came pouring into his Hotel for the day. Among the offerings, I saw a beautiful bouquet coming in by means of Only Roses from an admirer. That is what I would call quite a statement; and even though I didn't count them, it was a hell of a lot of roses.
