JLS: Selling Off Aston

The battle of the boy bands is in full swing, as the war of words between The Wanted and One Direction shows. But the battle is an old one and has been fought before. And it usually comes down to who undresses better than the others. Nude marketing, though, can go wrong, as Blue had to find out.

JLS is the boy band composed of Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams, J. B. Gill, and Marvin Humes. They have recently been sidelined in the fray as they are not involved in the transatlantic battle. But it meant that from the start of the American tours of One Direction and The Wanted they were losing out on a lot of publicity. What do you do in cases like that? You produce your own news when it suits you. And an easy way to get readers in and attention up is by showing skin. The more the merrier, if you excuse the pun.

The obvious choice for undressing among the JLS lads is Aston Merrygold. He has kept the fittest of all four and has the perfect pecs and abs to show off. And from the start, he did show them off whenever possible or whenever asked. By now, it has become so common for him to strip that his band mates often do it for him. Question is, how long he will find it funny to be shown off in the nude.
